Stand to Reason

STR teaches the value of using our minds to love God and share the Gospel. We teach careful reasoning and well thought-out answers so that Christians will participate in public discussion (at home, at work, or at the university) so that the Christian world view has a place in the debate. We encourage Christians to develop coherent answers to questions that challenge Christianity so that their faith is deepened and thereby are emboldened to share the Gospel.

Reasonable Faith

Reasonable Faith aims to provide in the public arena an intelligent, articulate, and uncompromising yet gracious Christian perspective on the most important issues concerning the truth of the Christian faith today. Reasonable Faith features the work of philosopher and theologian Dr. William Lane Craig in order to carry out its three-fold mission: 1)To provide an articulate, intelligent voice for biblical Christianity in the public arena. 2)To challenge unbelievers with the truth of biblical Christianity. 3)To train Christians to state and defend Christian truth claims with greater effectiveness.

Reasons to Believe

The mission of Reasons To Believe is to show that science and faith are, and always will be, allies, not enemies. Our goal is to bring that life-changing truth to everybody who needs to know, both believers and nonbelievers.

It is our conviction that since the same God who "authored" the universe also inspired the writings of the Bible, a consistent message will come through both channels. In other words, the facts of nature will never contradict the words of the Bible when both are properly interpreted.

Risen Jesus

Mike Licona is the Apologetics Coordinator at the North American Mission Board and Research Professor of New Testament at Southern Evangelical Seminary. Mike has a Ph.D. in New Testament Studies which he completed "with distinction" from the University of Pretoria. He is a member of the Evangelical Philosophical Society, the Institute for Biblical Research, and the Society of Biblical Literature. Mike is a frequent speaker on university campuses, churches, and has appeared on dozens of radio and television programs.

The Christian Research and Apologetics Ministry

CARM is a Christian ministry dedicated to the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ and the promotion and defense of the Christian Gospel, Doctrine, and Theology. CARM analyzes religions such as Islam, Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormonism, Roman Catholicism, Universalism, Wicca, etc., and compares them to the Bible. We also analyze secular ideas such as abortion, atheism, evolution, and relativism. In all our analyses we use logic and evidence to defend Christinaity and promote the truth of the Bible which is the inspired word of God. Jesus is the only way to salvation (John 14:6).

The Veritas Forum

Many of our nation's colleges and universities, including Yale, Michigan and Harvard, have included the Latin veritas in their mottos, signifying a pursuit of truth, unattached, it seemed, to anything in particular.

Our name, The Veritas Forum, references our desire to explore the original understanding of veritas. We seek to explore, discuss, engage, inspire, question, and enlarge our view of true life together.

Opposing View points

Infidels.org

The Secular Web is owned and operated by Internet Infidels, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization dedicated to defending and promoting a naturalistic worldview on the Internet. Naturalism is the "hypothesis that the natural world is a closed system" in the sense that "nothing that is not a part of the natural world affects it." As such, "naturalism implies that there are no supernatural entities," such as gods, angels, demons, ghosts, or other spirits, "or at least none that actually exercises its power to affect the natural world."[1] And without miraculous interventions into nature from a spiritual realm, neither prayer nor magick are more effective than a placebo.

Atheists.org

Since 1963, AMERICAN ATHEISTS has been the premier organization laboring for the civil liberties of Atheists, and the total, absolute separation of government and religion. It was born out of a court case begun in 1959 by the Murray family which challenged prayer recitation in the public schools.

God is Imaginary

How will we change the world, so that it becomes rational rather than religious? It is fascinating to think about how the transition will occur. It is easy to prove to yourself that God is imaginary. The evidence is all around you. Here are 50 simple proofs

CAIR, Center on American-Islamic Relations

CAIR's mission is to enhance understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding.

One Spirit Project

First and foremost, it must be stated that OSP does not represent any particular belief or hold any as being the one and only truth, for truth is relative and faith a personal journey. We do believe, however, that all paths lead to the same place, and that we are indeed all brethren - one spirit.

There is no desire to convert you to any particular belief system. Only you know exactly what your spiritual needs are. The goal is simply to get you thinking and communicating . . . to present new paradigms, to promote acceptance, and to help you understand why others believe and/or think differently.
